INVESTMENT OPTIONS

1. Direct Investment:

• Set up a New Commercial Enterprise (NCE)

2. Investment via a Regional Centre:

• No requirement for the applicant to set up an NCE
• The applicant meets the statutory job creation requirements based on economic projections counting direct and indirect jobs.

 REQUIREMENTS

• Invest in a New Commercial Enterprise located in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA) or outside a TEA:
  • Investment in TEA: the minimum qualifying investment is USD 900,000
  • Investment outside TEA: the standard minimum qualifying investment is USD 1,800,000
• Must provide proof of the source of funds used for investment
• Investment must be at risk and meet a statutory job creation of at least 10 jobs

• Angel Investor Group – which confirms that it is investing at least CAD 75,000 in the applicant’s business; or
• Venture Capital Fund – which confirms that it is investing at least CAD 200,000 in the applicant’s business.

ADVANTAGES

The Singapore Global Investor Program is a residence by investment program. It eventually provides Permanent Residence status in Singapore to investors with a substantial business track record and successful entrepreneurial background who intend to drive their business and investment growth from Singapore.

Renewable Start-up Visa (SUV) (subject to conditions)

• Singapore permanent Residency (PR) for successful applicants after 2 years of SUV
• Ability to apply for Singapore citizenship after 2 years of PR (subject to separate agreement between HLG and client)
• Attractive tax regime: low taxes, no tax on foreign income, capital gains or inheritance
